As the Founder and Medical Director of Meraki Medical Spa, Kim combines 23 years of nursing excellence with 13 + years of specialized experience as a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner and trained laser specialist. As an Advanced Practice Provider in aesthetic medicine, Kim is dedicated to bridging the gap between clinical safety and artistic results.

Kim's approach is built on a foundation of trust and customization. She understands that aesthetic goals are deeply personal, which is why she takes the time to listen to your concerns and curate a plan that fits your life and your specific skin needs.

With Kim at the helm, you can feel confident that you are receiving the highest quality care—expertly administered, meticulously planned, and tailored to help you glow from the inside out.

NURSE INJECTOR

Tara is a Registered Nurse, skilled Nurse Injector, and trained laser specialist with over 12 years of clinical nursing experience, including 3 years dedicated exclusively to medical aesthetics. Her approach is defined by a unique ability to bridge clinical excellence with aesthetic artistry, ensuring every treatment is rooted in medical safety while achieving a visually harmonious result.  

Tara’s philosophy of treatment is centered on soft, natural rejuvenation. She is passionate about helping patients achieve refreshed, balanced results that enhance confidence without ever appearing overdone. She specializes in comprehensive treatment planning, utilizing her artistic eye for facial balancing, lip enhancement, and cheek filler to complement each patient’s unique anatomy. By maintaining a conservative approach, she delivers subtle enhancements that prioritize facial harmony and authenticity.  

Beyond injectables and laser treatments, Tara is a vocal advocate for long-term skin health. She believes advanced skin therapies like microneedling and laser treatments are essential tools for improving skin quality and collagen production, especially when integrated with a consistent, medical-grade skincare regimen.  

Above all, Tara ensures her patients feel educated and comfortable. She believes the best aesthetic results are those that leave you looking rested and like the best version of yourself—never "plastic," just authentically you.  

AESTHETIC REGISTERED NURSE

Amanda Johnson is a Registered Nurse and trained laser specialist with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and over 16 years of nursing experience. She has spent the past 15 years with Mayo Clinic Health System, building a strong foundation in patient care, clinical excellence, and compassionate communication. Before becoming an RN, Amanda worked as both a Nursing Assistant and Licensed Practical Nurse while completing nursing school, giving her a well-rounded understanding of patient care at every level.

For the past two years, Amanda has combined her medical background with her passion for aesthetics at Meraki Medical Spa. She believes aesthetic and laser treatments should enhance natural beauty while helping patients feel confident, refreshed, and comfortable in their own skin. Amanda takes a personalized and honest approach to treatment planning, focusing on education, safety, and results that look natural and balanced.

By blending years of clinical nursing experience with advanced aesthetic training and an artistic eye, Amanda is dedicated to providing patients with high-quality care and a welcoming experience. She is passionate about helping each patient feel heard, cared for, and confident throughout their aesthetic journey.

REGISTERED NURSE

Megan Jones is a Registered Nurse with 15 years of nursing experience, bringing a diverse clinical background and a passion for skin health to Meraki Medical Spa. She began her career in a fast-paced medical-surgical colorectal and general surgery unit before transitioning to outpatient dermatology 8 years ago, where she found her true calling in aesthetic and medical skin care.

Throughout her dermatology career, Mega has gained extensive experience managing phototherapy treatments, assisting with Mohs and excision surgeries, and working alongside providers in aesthetic medicine. Her comprehensive understanding of skin health allows her to provide thoughtful, personalized care while helping patients achieve health, natural-looking results.

Megan believes every patient deserves to feel comfortable, heard, and confident throughout their aesthetic journey. Known for her warm personality and gentle approach, she takes the time to educate patients, build trusting relationships, and create treatment plans tailored to each individual’s goals. Outside of the spa, Megan enjoys spending time outdoors and making memories with her three children.

REGISTERED NURSE | IV THERAPY

Jenna Jech is a Registered Nurse with more than 20 years of nursing experience and a strong background in women’s health. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Community Health Education and Psychology from the University of Minnesota Duluth before returning to school to pursue nursing, combining her passion for health education with hands-on patient care.

For more than two decades, Jenna has been part of Mayo Clinic Health System, with the majority of her nursing career dedicated to Labor & Delivery and Postpartum care. Her experience supporting women and their families through pregnancy, childbirth, and the transition into parenthood has shaped her compassionate, attentive approach to patient care. She believes patients should feel comfortable, informed, and genuinely cared for at every visit.

At Meraki Medical Spa, Jenna brings that same clinical experience and nurturing approach to IV therapy and wellness. She enjoys helping women and men support their overall well-being through services focused on hydration, nutrient replenishment, energy, immune support, exercise recovery, gut health, and healthy-looking skin.

Jenna believes wellness is not one-size-fits-all. Her approach is centered on listening to each patient, understanding their individual goals, and providing thoughtful care that complements a healthy lifestyle. With her extensive nursing background and passion for helping others feel their best, Jenna is dedicated to making every Meraki experience both comfortable and personalized.

BUSINESS MANAGER

Kristin Guetzlaff holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Southwest Minnesota State University and brings more than 15 years of corporate experience working in various business analyst roles. She also spent nearly 8 years working within the school district before joining the Meraki team as Business Manager.

Working primarily behind the scenes, Kristin helps keep daily operations running smoothly by overseeing financial performance, managing inventory levels, and supporting overall business operations. Her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and passion for efficiency make her an important part of the team and the client experience at Meraki.
